How fantastic to see the sun at last - a good job because our topic this week is holidays. The children are still able to catch a flight with Greenacre Airways and we will be talking about holidays from the past and future. If your child has a passport please let them have a look at it as we will be talking about them and it would be great if they could actually see their own.
Thank you to everyone who donated a blue bag before we broke up. We had a brilliant response; we will let you know how much we have collected as soon as we receive the cheque. Watch out for this week’s newsletter, it has lots of information about the Summer Fayre and what you can do to help make it a success.
During the half term we had five butterflies break out from their cocoons. They were released into the wild. The children had a great time watching them grow. Photographs will be uploaded into the gallery later in the week.
You should have already received your child’s Barnardo’s Toddle sponsor forms. This event will take place next week – don’t worry if you only have one or two sponsors every penny helps.
We are just putting together the results of our Parents questionnaire and hope to have a summary out to you by the end of the week. Thank you to everyone who took the time to complete them, it is really useful for our committee to see how we are doing and to plan how to move forward. If you have found your form at home over the holiday it can still count as long as you bring it in by Wednesday morning.
Have a good week and let’s hope this weather is here for some time – especially next week for our Toddle!
