Them bones, them bones…...
Thank you to everyone who has been out and collected autumn items. We have had conkers, acorns, big leaves, little leaves, pine cones, feathers…… it’s been great to talk about what the children have collected, where they went and who they went with. We’ve also seen some family photographs; it is so wonderful getting to know our extended families.
For our topic this week we will be looking at the skeleton, what it’s for and names of some bones. We will be learning a new song ‘Them bones, them bones, them dancing bones’. If you are unsure of the words you can find it on ‘YouTube’ or ask your child to teach you it! The home corner is now the ‘Greenacre Hospital’ and the children are enjoying being doctors, nurses and patients.
Have you received your newsletter? It will have been handed out last week at the end of a session or if you opted for email it will be in your ‘inbox’. This has some useful information and some important dates for you to put in your diaries.
Have a good week….. Enjoy those dancing bones!!
