The sun has got his hat on…
What strange weather we are having – one minute snow, the next sun – no wonder there are lots of coughs and colds about. Don’t forget if your child is poorly and not coming into Pre-School just give us a quick phone call to let us know, we do worry about our little ones when they don’t come in. If you are going on holiday in term time please complete a holiday form so that we know not to expect your child.
It was great to see so many children dressed up as characters from books last week. The children really enjoyed it and considering some were wearing tricky all-in-one outfits we didn’t have many toilet incidents! Check out the March newsletter for our next dressing up event on Friday 18th March.
This week we are looking at spring flowers – especially daffodils. Do you have any in your garden? Have you some in your home? The children will be having a go at drawing daffodils and we were will be talking about the parts of a flower, e.g. stem, leaf, petal and also what flowers need to make them grow. You can help your child at home by talking about the flower parts and how they grow.
Tonight (Monday 7th) after Pre-School finishes at 3:30 there will be an opportunity for you to look around at our displays and chat with the ladies. We hope to see you, but if you cannot make it then have a word with your child’s Key Person to see when would be good to come in and have a look around.
Have a good week.
