Stay safe

How fantastic to see so many of you at our informal parents evening last Monday.  We hope you enjoyed looking through your child’s profile and seeing what they have been getting up to this term.  If you have not already done so please sign and return so that your child’s Key Person can continue adding to it.  If you were unable to come into the classroom last week please ask a member of staff to have a look around.

This week we are practicing being independent by trying to put on and take off our coats, please help your child too at home.  We are talking about being safe in the dark and reflectors.  If you are out and about at night help your child to see things which reflect in the dark.  Next week we will be talking about road safety – does your child know how to cross over the road properly and what to look out for?  We will be practicing (not on a real road!).

Has your child been practicing their Christmas songs?  They have been doing really well and it is definitely a show not to be missed.  You should have now received your letter about the concert and our Christmas party so please return as soon as possible as we are choosing our cast!  Don’t forget it is on Monday 5th December and everyone is welcome.  The Greenacre committee will be there to welcome you and will have hot drinks and mince pies available while you wait (for a small donation).  We will also be holding a raffle of our Christmas hampers and there is a box in our reception ready and waiting for donations – wine, mince pies, toiletries, biscuits… Thank you in advance.

Have a great and safe week.
