People who help us - take 2

Posted by admin on June 17, 2019

We had a great start last week to our @People who help us’ theme.  ‘Motorway Martin’ came on Monday with his Police car and Spencer the guide dog brought Kevin in to talk about dogs for the blind.  We have more visits planned this week and we have some teachers coming in from other schools to see the children who are moving on in September.

Don’t forget it’s our Summer Open Morning this Saturday, the classroom doors open at 10.  This is the first time we have had an event like this, so we hope you will come and see what we have doing.  It is also an opportunity to play with your child and chat with their Key Person.  Don’t forget to bring a little bit of money as we will have a tombola, cake stall and there will be refreshments available.  We are still collecting tombola prizes so if you have something suitable please drop it into one of the boxes in reception.  If you are baking for the bun and cake stall don’t forget to bring your baking in on Friday and remember to label your container.

Thank you to everyone who have completed and returned your child’s report.  If you have not returned yours yet and you are struggling please speak with a member of staff.

That’s it for now – hope to see you on Saturday (fingers crossed for good weather!)
