March is here
We all eased back into the Pre-School routine last week. It seemed like a long five days after having a week off! But we are all set for a busy month before the next break for the Easter holidays.
This week we are listening to rhythm and rhymes. Do you know any tongue twisters you could teach your child? We will also be encouraging the children to look at books and talk about their favourite stories and characters….. This leads us onto World Book day on Thursday (5th March). If your child attends on Thursday they can come into Pre-School dressed as a character from a book. This is an optional activity so don’t feel that you have to go out and buy something special for the day. However, the staff will be dressed up – hopefully you will be able to tell which character they are!!
On Friday we received a lovely letter from The Children’s Society thanking us for our Christingle collection. We raised £135 which will be put to good use within the charity. Thank you to everyone who participated in December.
Watch out for the March newsletter landing in your in boxes this week.
