Happy Chinese New Year!  So how was your half term holiday?  We are back and refreshed and ready for the next six weeks until the Easter break. It’s the Year of the dog– those people who are born in this year (1946, 1958, 1970, 1982, 1994 and 2006) are said to possess the best traits of human nature. They are honest, friendly, faithful, loyal, smart, straightforward, respected and have a strong sense of responsibility. On the negative side, they are likely to be self-righteous, cold, terribly stubborn, slippery, critical of others and not good at social activities!  Which year were you born in?  This week we have lots of Chinese based activities planned and the children will have the opportunity to try Chinese food at snack times.

We have lots of activities happening this term.  Do you have a pond in your garden?  Does it usually have frog spawn?  Please let us know if you will be able to bring in a bit for us to put on our interest table.  The children love to watch it develop into tadpoles.

We can’t wait to hear about the things you have been doing during the holidays.  Have a good week.
