Happy Summer Term

Posted by admin on April 16, 2016

We are so busy when we start the summer term our news is being updated early – there is not a minute to spare.  This week we look forward to a visit from Lisa the Bug Lady.  She’s coming in on Monday morning and bringing with her lots of interesting and unusual pets… giant snails, hissing cockroaches, stick insects and lots more.  In the past our children have loved the bug lady’s visit. She tells them all about the bugs, their habitats and behaviour and if the children are brave enough they can hold them!!

This week our caterpillars will be arriving, courtesy this year from Charlotte.  They are so fascinating to watch growing bigger and bigger and then change from caterpillars into a chrysalis and then to a butterfly.  We always name the butterflies after the person who sees them emerging from their transformation period.  It’s really exciting, we will keep you up to date.

The other exciting news this week is of course the confirmation of Primary school places.  Please inform your key person which school your child has received their place for so that we can start the transition documentation.

We hope you have all had a great holiday and cannot wait to hear everyone’s news.
