Happy St. Patricks Day

Posted by admin on March 17, 2014

Isn’t the weather being kind to us?  Last week we had a great time in the garden, going out and about and getting plenty of Vitamin D from the sun.  It turned a bit chilly on Friday so it’s still not warm enough to leave coats at home.  As the old saying goes “Don’t cast a clout til May is out!”

Our topic this week is ‘Frogs’.  We have some frog spawn in the classroom and we look forward to seeing it develop into tadpoles and then hopefully when they have grown a bit more we can release them into the pond.  We will be talking about a frog’s life cycle and we have lots of ‘frog’ activities for the children. At home please talk to your child about frogs and find out what they know!

Next Monday (24th March) is our ‘Walk the Walls’ event.  You are welcome to come into the classroom after 3.30 to look at what we have been doing this term.  You may even get a chance to look at the frog spawn!

Don’t forget if you have any concerns or worries about your child please speak with a member of staff.
