This week we are making a Christingle. Your child will be provided with everything needed – so don’t worry about sending an orange in! The first Christingle was introduced by the Children’s Society in 1968 and is a message of love and hope. The Society believes that every child should have a childhood they deserve. So along with their Christingle the children will be bringing home a little collection box to collect any spare change in so we can send it to the Children’s Society for Christmas.
We have all been preparing for our Christmas Sing-a-long. We had a little run through on Friday in the hall but it is tricky to let everyone take a turn as the children come in on different days. So the first time they all do it together fully dressed will be Monday. Please ask a member of staff if you have any questions.
Has your child completed their ‘Home Link’? Once they have written their letter to Santa please post in the letter box in reception and we will pass them onto the big man! We have a special connection with him and he always looks at the Pre-School’s letters as a matter of priority.
That’s it for now…. Have a good week.
