Children in Need
How fantastic to see so many of you at our informal parents evening last Monday. We hope you have enjoyed looking through your child’s profile and seeing what they have been getting up to this term. If you have not already done so please sign and return so that your child’s Key Person can continue adding to it. If you were unable to come into the classroom last week please ask a member of staff to have a look around.
This week we are raising awareness of ‘Children in Need’. We have lots of activities organised for the children and we will be talking about who the Children in Need charity help. This week is an opportunity to dress up! So no matter what your child wants to wear to come to Pre-School it’s OK with us!! Friday is pyjama day – so you don’t even have to get dressed! We may even have some buns and biscuits for you to buy! There will be a box in reception to collect for the charity – please give what you can for this very worthy cause.
Has your child been practicing their Christmas songs? They have been doing really well and our Christmas sing-a-long is definitely a show not to be missed. You should have now received your letter about the concert and our Christmas party so please return as soon as possible as we are choosing our cast! Don’t forget it is on Monday 4th December and everyone is welcome. The Greenacre committee will be there to welcome you and will have hot drinks and mince pies available while you wait (for a small donation). We will also be holding a raffle of our Christmas hampers and there is a box in our reception ready and waiting for donations – wine, mince pies, toiletries, biscuits… Thank you in advance.
Have a great week.
