Children in Need Week
Thank you to everyone who came to our parents evening last Wednesday – it was fantastic to see so many of you. We hope you have enjoyed looking through your child’s profile and seeing what they have been getting up to this term. If you have not already done so please sign and return the profile so that your child’s Key Person can continue adding to it. If you were unable to come into the classroom last week, please ask a member of staff to have a look around.
This week we are raising awareness of ‘Children in Need’. We have lots of activities organised for the children and we will be talking about who the Children in Need charity help. This week is an opportunity to dress up! So, no matter what your child wants to wear to come to Pre-School it’s OK with us!! Friday is pyjama day – so you don’t even have to get dressed! We may even have some buns and biscuits for you to buy! There will be a box in reception to collect for the charity – please give what you can for this very worthy cause.
A letter will be coming out this week to tell you all about our Christmas sing-a-long on Monday 10th December. We are starting to learn the songs so don’t be alarmed if your child starts singing a Christmas themed song! We hope you will be able to come and see out little ones perform; the Greenacre committee will be there to welcome you and will have coffee and mince pies available while you wait. We will also be holding a raffle, so don’t forget your money!
Have a great week.
