Celebrating Diwali.

Posted by admin on October 20, 2014

As we start our final week of this half term (Friday is our last day) we are getting ready for another busy few days.  Our children will be busy getting to know about different religions and traditions, especially the celebration of Diwali.  They will all have the opportunity to make a candle holder which encourages them to manipulate clay and get a little messy, watch out for it coming home and find it a special place.

Thank you to everyone who has completed the recent ‘Home link’ it has been wonderful reading the comments from parents about the activity and what their child has done.  There will be some more activities next half term.

This week we have a student joining us from Guiseley High School on their placement.  Her name is Emma and she will be working alongside us all to get an idea of what it’s like in a Pre-School.  So if you see her do say hello.  This is an opportunity for us to share our setting, knowledge and experience so we hope Emma enjoys her time with us.

That’s about it for this half term, so we hope you all have a great break.  We all will be recharging our batteries as next half term is a very busy one….photographs…. parents evening… Christmas concert…. Christmas party…. We can’t wait!

Have a fantastic break see you all again from Monday 3rd November when we will also be welcoming a few more new children.
