Brrrrrr… How cold is it?
What a great week – pumpkins, bats, fireworks, Guy Fawkes, fire… we had it all! Did you manage to get to a bonfire on Saturday night? It was a fine night for fireworks – although it was very, very cold. We will be talking about bonfires and fireworks this week and we can’t wait to hear about our children’s experiences.
It’s not many weeks until our Christmas sing-a-long; a letter will be coming out shortly to tell you all about it. We are starting to learn the songs so don’t be alarmed if your child starts singing a Christmas themed song (they already have Christmas music in Argos so it’s obviously not too early!) We hope you will be able to come and see out little ones perform, it is on Monday 5th December and the Greenacre committee will be there to welcome you and will have coffee and mince pies available while you wait. We will also be holding a raffle of our Christmas hampers and we will soon be asking for your kind donations.
Don’t forget our informal parents evening (Monday 7th from 3:30 until 5). A great opportunity for you to come into the classroom and have a look at all the hard work we have been doing this term. If you are unable to come then please speak to your child’s Key Person to arrange a suitable time for you to come in. We look forward to seeing you.
Have a great week.
