Anyone for Tennis?

Today is the start of Wimbledon; let’s hope that Tim does better than our Football team!  It’s another busy week in Pre-School we are supporting the children during their transition to their new schools.  So far the children have enjoyed their visits and are very excited about continuing their learning journey.  We are also encouraging the younger children to help us when the new intake of children starts in September.

We are all looking forward to this Saturday and our annual Summer Fayre.  We hope you are coming.  There will be lots of stalls; Hook a Duck, Tombola, Bottle Stall, Cakes…..and lots more.  Of course we couldn’t do it without your support.  Thank you to everyone who has already donated some fantastic prizes, however, we would like some more bottles and items for our Tombola so please have a look around to see if you can help.  Raffle tickets are on sale now £1 each.  Prizes so far include vouchers for hair, nails, meat, meals out, spray tan and some boxes of biscuits, wine, and aftershave – in fact we have almost 30 prizes in our grand draw.  Please bring your baking into Pre-School on Friday for our Cake Stall.

Our topic is still ‘Holidays’ and we have been finding out where everyone is going this summer – don’t forget to send us a postcard!  The Greenacre Travel Agents and Airport has been very busy.  PLEASE don’t forget to put sun cream on your child before they start their session.  It is so important - not only to stop their skin from burning but to protect them from harmful rays which may cause them problems in later life.

Have a great week.
