Pre-School
Week commencing 14th May
O what fun we had last week. The bears and the children had such a fantastic time. Unfortunately, the weather was too wet to go outside for a picnic but we managed to sit around inside and feed our bears.
Do you think the weather will start to get warmer soon? Hopefully it will as this week we are talking about Summer.... bring on the sun! The children will be looking at the environment and how it changes during the Summer time.
We still have blue bags waiting in reception for you to fill. Please bring your filled bags to the Pre-School for collection by NEXT Monday - May 21st. Happy decluttering.
We will be celebrating the Queens Diamond Jubilee towards the end of the month. Do you have any photographs of you or your family at any other Jubilee's? If so will you please bring them in for us to make a display.

In June 2009 Greenacre Pre-School successfully achieved a silver, followed by three gold awards, in the Leeds Quality Assurance scheme. It is in recognition of having the highest standards in terms of organisation, environment, overall ethos and the experiences we provide for the children in our care.
As members of the Pre-School Learning Alliance Greenacre Pre-School has access to
a library of

The Pre-School is open to all members of the community and we are committed to providing equality of opportunity and anti-discriminatory practice for all children and families.
... has been at Greenacre now for four months and although she has largely settled in, she can still have an occasional wobble, and when that happens Julie and her staff are on it immediately to smooth the way.
The care and attention received is still the same as it was on the first day and they watch for any sign of upset and stop it before it starts.
I can't thank everyone at Greenacre enough for all they have done and would recommend them to anyone looking for a pre-school for their child.

... I cannot praise the staff and management enough, they provide a stimulating and safe environment and the key worker system builds a strong relationship between the staff and children.
A million thanks for looking after our boys so well and keep up the great work
